  1. Sure!  Let me stay there for free for two weeks and then I'll talk it up to all kinds of potential buyers.

  2. If you have been trying to sell that villa since a long time ago as I presume because other answers, your price is too high.

You have two choices, agent or do it by your own. First is expensive, commisions in south Spain for foreigners are a scandal, they do very little and ask for a lot of money. But, for sure that you can not show the house by your own. If you can trust in any neighbourg who is resident, you can offer him some money just to show the villa, then once that your price fits better with the reality of the market, invest money in the folowing news papers: Las Provincias, El País y ABC. A normal advertisement on Sunday and Monday (the days of real state advertising in Spain) can cost you around 40€. With this, 60% of the calls received will be agents stating you that thei have the right client to your advertising, do no trust them, They are lying. This is how spaniards do, but may be from abroad is quite difficult.

Once that you have somebody interested, they must pay you an advanced payment to reserve the villa. Then simply contact with any notary who speak English. You must have your spanish NIE (Tax identification number) before signing the contract. Ask the nearest Spanish consulate how to get it in advance as it can take more than a month.

  3. Well first of all you  have told a lot of people by asking the question, It would depend on weather you want to sell it by yourself,or want some agent to organise that for you.I would consider to go back on your track and talk to the agent that sold it to you in the first place, take it from there . At the same time eBay could be an option. There many links that you could invite to take it on board and put you on their books. If i had the money I would take a look at it myself. what part of Valencia ? is it the region or the city?

  4. I live in Valencia and all you have to do is open your eyes and you'll see the millions of real estate agencies on every street-I live in Massarrojos (a suburb of the city, near Paterna and Rocafort and Moncada) its a very very small town and it probably has about 10 different agencies....also, try the British market, they love to vacation (holiday) here.

  5. Are you just trying to impress us?

  6. This seems a very odd question to me....if you do have a villa here in Spain, then you will know the place is over run with estate agents of all nationhalities, and that there are lots of english language newspapers to take ads....

If its been up for sale for a long time and not moved, then look at how you are marketing it, are you trying anything different to attract attention? Have to think out of the box on this.....if its been viewed but no takers, why, what's putting them off, price, decor?..

Need to sell the features and benefits much harder than a bog standard ad....Think about the property, would you want to buy it, why did you buy it, what attracted you to it? there's your positive features, re-hash them for todays market

  7. try ebay
