  1. Restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

    http://www.malwarebytes.org

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

After the scans, restart the PC and update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

  2. no matter how many times you backup your files as long as they are infected with virus they will still be deleted.

  3. If you are only afraid they may be deleted

Download  Zone alarm anti virus suite you get 15 days free trial set it up and do an  update then scan for viruses and spyware it should remove any threats

I recommend Partitioning your hard drive and save personal files on second partition
