I have a virus on my cpu and it is running slow?

its running real slow even the inter net what is wrong

idk what the name of the virus is but i keep on seeing

virtual memory low and pops up in the corner.

help me what should i do.

you need to download free internet eraser! it will remove most of the junk on your cpu and hard drive and free up some space go to www.download.com and search free internet eraser. also check out some of there free virus scans while your there I use avira scanner.

That's not a virus.

You are using too much virtual memory.

You need to free up some space, so get rid of files you no longer need, or put them on a CD in case you need them again. Virtual Memory Minimum too low means that its sacrificing other pieces of memory to make up for this one. Do you play lots of virtual games with pretty good graphics? That's probably the cause. Still, removing some files should help a little.

It's freeware. What you really need to do is defrag your hard drive, use CCleaner to clean unnecessary files on your PC, run Ad-aware to delete all the adware you have. Go to Start, Run, then type: msconfig.exe, hit the enter key. Click on Startup and uncheck all that c**p you have there. Also uninstall any unneeded software and then defrag that machine.

do you disk clean every other day and defragmentyour cpu. what type antivirus protection do you have on cpu. i have verizon internet security suite it takes care of spyware and intivirus.how much do you download?you also got to clean out temp files

you can download if from internet or can collect if you can.

norton and  kaspersky may be the good options

first of all update it then....

by this anti virus just scan your system.
