I have a viruses on my computer and i cant get them off

Question

I got a virus on my computer and i cant get them off Norton is to dumb to even start a computer scan and when i try to scan my computer with another program it restarts my computer, This stupid Antivirus XP 2008 wont get off my computer either and it changed my back ground to a stupid alreat telling me i have a virus and Antivirus just popped up from no where on my computer and i cant take it off unless i but the programs or i take off the viruses, and i need some program to take these viruses off the computer.

I cant do a scan on safe mode because i need to be connected to the internet but since i have an adapter that wirelessly connects. How do i connect it on safe mode with networking?

Oh when i tried to install Spyware doctor my computer restarted also.

How can i get rid of this virus

i had that also. I finally found something that worked where it has you boot into safe mode to remove it. http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/antivirusxp-...  i would follow those steps and it should work. Don't have to waste time or money on anything else.

When it's booting hit F8 until you see the screen which mode you choose to boot from.

choose safe mode with networking.

Then first try trendmicro website using the house call, which should have the tools to remove most of the malware.

Do you have the xp recovery disc that your computer came with? You might have to run it. It will take anything off of your computer that you have installed on it though. Mine had a virus. I did that and it took me a while to figure out how to get back the sound and other things.

At first u try to uninstall that Antivirus XP 2008, as in my opinion i.e. making u fool.

after it try to restore ur systen to a good backdate.

and install this antivirus
