I'm going to Switzerland next week and was planning to spend a few days in the UK during my Stay. However, I don't know if I can go to the UK with my swiss visa?

I heard that It's possible to go to the UK with a swiss visa and vice versa but still need confirmation.

  1. No a Swiss Visa is for Switzerland!!

It depends what Nationality you are, if you are American you do not need a visa to enter the UK.

  2. The UK never signed up the the Schengen visa scheme, so yes, as you are from Algeria you will need a visa to come to the UK

  3. No, a Swiss visa is only valid for visiting Switzerland, the clue is in the name.

You don't say what nationality you are, but if you need a visa for the UK it has to be a UK visa.

  4. More than anything, it probably depends on your nationality. I suggest that you check at the UK embassy in your country.
