  1. I too have different vision between both eyes

the following exercises are up for grabs:

    1. look at a lit candle and make the image go blurry then clear

    2. Keeping eyes straight forward throughout the whole exercise: put both thumbs in front of you arms extended, thumbs up and wiggling, bring both arms to the side until you can no longer see your thumbs in the peripheral vision then move them until you can. repeat this, your peripheral vision will increase and your stress levels if any will decrease

    3. palm the eyes: take and place the palms of each hand and place them against the eyes when closed, this will warm the eyes and make you more aware of them as well this sets up a connection for healing

    4. with fresh wheat grass juice fill an eye wash (Longs has them) this will purge the eyes of toxins, mos t persons say they are able to see colors more brilliantly

5 get soft contact lenses and continue with the above exercises

  2. i have the same eyesight as you!

your eyesight cant really be improved naturally but it can be improved through laser eye surgery but this is expensive and can cause complications.

not wearing glasses can damage your eyesight further because your eyes have to strain more so you could always try contact lenses. thats what i wear they suit me.

and your eyesight isnt awful but its not great either but if youre a teenager then your eyesight will continue to change for a while yet.

  3. unless you get eye surgery, you cannot improve your eyesight in any way.. how unfortunate, right?

what does having glasses and having a headache have to do with each other? i dont like wearing glasses either. get contacts if you wish. hard contacts could be quite bothersome but they are better because they let your eyes get worse slower..

i think not wearing your glasses is okay but if you are having to strain your eyes to see or read things, it is bad. that will make your eye sight worse quicker i believe.

  4. This is a mild prescription that you should only wear when you need to e.g. driving or when good distance vision is needed.  If you want to wear them at all times you can.  They might help when watching TV if the TV is more than 10 feet away from where you sit.

Glasses will only change your vision when you wear them and will not make your eyesight weaker.

  5. That is not at all bad. I myself am -6 in both eyes. And know of people who are -13. So count yourself lucky. The only thing I can say, is that it can still get worse. I don't know how old you are, but if you are still growing, then it is probable that your eyesight will continue to deteriorate.

There is no way to make them better, but there are certain things you can do in order to make sure they don't get too much worse:

    - Keep your book at a distance when reading. It has to be on the verge of uncomfortable

-When working on the computer, keep the screen an arms length away.

-If you are doing some sort of work that involves looking at something close to you for extended periods of time, eg, working on the computer. Take a minute break about every quarter of an hour and look far into the distance. Focussing on something far away.

Other than this, there is really nothing I can suggest. If your eyes have finished growing, and you have enough money, then laser surgery is always an option. Though to be honest, I don't think such measures are really necessary with your eyesight.

If it is the appearance of the glasses you don't like, then get contacts. No one will be able to tell, and once you get used to them, they take just seconds to put in/take out.

And lastly, I would say that with your eyesight, you can afford to not be wearing glasses all the time. Just wear them when you feel it's necessary. But don't let your eyesight cause you pain.

  6. a) Cannot improve eyesight without surgery.

    b) Headache may be because your eyes are straining

    c) Only wear them whe you want

    d) No

  7. You sure are lucky not to have such bad sight as the others. I don't see where you asked who has worse vision.

Anyway, with that correction, it is really subjective. Some people with the same prescription will say they only use them for driving and TV, while others can appreciate the sharpness and prefer to wear them all the time. If you are comfortable with your vision most of the time, then wear them as you feel they are needed. Unfortunately, there is no way to improve your sight naturally. It all has to do with the shape of the eye and the way light focuses on the retina. Contacts would be your best bet to get rid of the glasses.

  8. i have -6.00/-6.50.......count yourself lucky!

  9. 1.  No. Wanna trade eyeballs? I have -1.75 both eyes and don't have a huge problem reading far-away stuff. You're fine.

    2. You can't really do much without glasses to actually cure your headache. Ibuprofen could fix it for now, but it's going to keep coming back until you fix your vision.

    3. I keep mine in the car for driving and going to movies because I don't use them for anything else. You don't need to wear them all the time, but you might as well.

    4. Nope, but your vision will gradually worsen with age. If you're in your teens, this is when genetic vision problems like nearsightedness begin to appear. If your other family members wear glasses or contacts, you most likely will need to as well.

If you don't like glasses, you can try contacts instead. If possible, try to get the "daily" ones. You wear them for one day, throw them out after wearing, and then wear a new pair the next day. This should help you avoid any discomfort associated with contact lenses. Also, make sure to get some eye drops and carry them with you - if you have even mild eye allergies, things like pollen and dust can stick to the lens and make them worse.
