I'm not sure if they check for warrants on domestic flights. Does anyone know for sure? I print my boarding pass at home and just take that straight to the gate after the security checkpoint makes sure that my name on my id matches the one on my boarding pass.

  1. You'd be better off driving. They do routinely have officers at the airport on the lookout for people jumping warrants. It would really depend on the severity of your warrant (is it for traffic tickets) if you would be on that list but it's a gamble.

  2. Airlines have no authority to run a warrants check. The TSA does and so does the airport police. So with that said once your on the flight unless you have involvement with the authorities you'll be fine.

Chicago is a major hub and very busy. There is really no practical way to run checks on everyone who passes through nor would they. Certainly if you on a most wanted list you could be noticed and arrested. But if you were I doubt you would be on yahoo.

  3. NO they do not check you like that at a airport Unless you are wanted for some serious charges and even than how in heck would they know you were going to be there and that you were wanted. The Airport folks do not check that stuff.

Unless you go to the airport and make a scene or do something to cause them to call police on you than you are fine.

Though in all honesty you really should get that stuff straight living on the run is no fun.

Oh and those who replied regarding bounty hunters show how much they know since You have to actually have Jumped bail for a bailbondsman to even have a interest in you So unless this is a bail issue they would Not have a interest in you.

  4. It depends on how wanted you are.  If it's for a serious felony, they'll be an open search for you, and yes, they will.

If it's for unpaid parking tickets, probably not.
