  1. It sounds like a bench warrant issued by a judge. If you were supposed to appear in court for something and didn't report, then the judge issues a bench warrant. There should be instructions in the letter telling what you need to do. If not call the court that issued the warrant and ask the court clerk what you need to do. Otherwise, you will have the police or the sheriff knocking on your door.

  2. go down to the station

  3. It should tell you in the letter. Call whomever sent it and ask them if it doesn't tell you.

  4. Be a man and turn yourself in.

  5. I would say you ahve two options.

    1) Go to the local jail and turn yourself in.  You would then go to court or pay a bail and get yourself out.  In my area if you pay the bail you get processed and can then leave, meaning you can go to court later on in your street clothes.  If you don't and just go to court then you go in an orange jumpsuit.

    2) You can ignore the letter and wait until the police find you, arrest you, and take you to jail on their terms.  It might suck if you were driving a new date around and you get pulled over for speeding...and you have a warrant.......

  6. You can call them to let them know you received the letter, then drive down to the station and let them arrest you. Or you can wait and they will hunt you down and arrest you somewhere publicly and embarrass you.
