the little buggers have managed to get in through a gap where some pointing has come away just above my back door. i sprayed the hole with a load of raid killer spray and blocked up the hole with silicone sealant but they still flying around the seal. i've found 10 dead ones in the house since saturday tea time and am just a bit worried about one of my kids standing on one and getting a sting. surley the queen must be dead by now so i was wondering will they eventually sod off or should i call in professionals which will probably cos me a fortune!? thanks

  1. They should eventually give up. I hope you sprayed and plugged the whole at night, as that is when you will catch all of them in the nest.

  2. If you have kids don't take any chances.  Call the professionals to make sure the whole next is taken care of.  Wasps are nasty and if you didn't get the whole next they can cause serious harm to you and your family.

  3. Ha ha! TEA time?? This is America!

  4. the nest still has its lure-in time they will go away-you could always have target practice and shoot them in the air with raid

  5. They'll eventually sod off.  They're persistent buggers though - they know where their house is!  I'd be spraying the ones trying to get back in until you don't see anymore.  I don't normally endorse spraying things, but I know what they're like!  You'll just have to be diligent for a little while, then the problem should be gone.
