  1. Weather has always been a topic of daily conversation as well as a very well studied science.  There is an abundance of  material written about weather that has been used for reference for years.  You would be correct to say that the current weather is much different than what we would expect from our previous observations over many years.  In fact, few if any scientists who have studied global climate change disagree that there are more storms and other disturbing changes going on right now. Nevertheless, I don't think earthquakes can be included in the mix.  Earthquakes have happened at seeming random frequencies and severities over many many years of recorded history.  We don't really understand the causes of deep earthquakes very well, and except for very general parametric equations, we don't have any way to predict them.   Check Wikipedia for "climate change" if you are interested in the evidence , theories and results of these changes.  Long range predictions are less accurate than shorter ones, but this summer could  continue the trend of storms (persistance forecasting = more of the same, and is often correct).

  2. It's just the weather. I don't really think it's worth worrying about. You can't change it.

  3. It's coming...winters with sunshine and summers with tropic storms...the phenomenon is very close by...god help us all

  4. the end of the world is nigh,

    repent y'all heathens

  5. The earth is changing.  The climate is shifting.  It's really true whether or not people believe it, but it's global warming.  We won't be alive to see it or even our kids kids, but the future of earth isn't looking so great.

  6. Simply cycles my dear, nothing new is happening. Looking back in past records we go through such cycles and man always wants to put his spin on it and blame something. Today we say it is "global warming" or we might say it is the high Co2 level or whatever. Man really had a minuscule effect on the weather but we need something to blame for something we think is new or never happened before. Hang in there this cycle is the norm.
