Yes, Start writing articles concerning your websites content and submit to article directories. I did this when I first started a couple of years ago and now have articles that I have authored appearing in lots of websites all with a one way link to my site (1600 Links).

If your budget is low start writing press releases and articles for your site and send them through the free article submission websites. You can also find free directories to insert your company information into.
