seoul has HUGEEE shopping,

dongdaemun, which is pretty much a shopping 'city'

is one of the best tourist attractions. you can't see the whole place even if you walk around the wholeeeee day

low prices, good quality, variety, food, entertainment, and thats where people love to

itaewon is smaller, but it's just like that. you can find everything in seoul. alot of restuarants, chinese, japanese, thai, european, etc.

the seoul tower is a nice place to visit, you can get tours & stuff

theres this big amusement park call everland, but it's a little away from seoul, but you can get a tour, or take the subway there, it costs about $2. everland also has a big water park call carribean bay. or you can go to lotte world, err, i haven't been there in a while, i forgot where it is, but it's nearish seoul. it's an indoor amusement park & shopping place.

at night seoul gets fun. alot more people come out, alot of street vendors selling good, BUT be careful what you buy on the street. people do get sick, and the bird influenza is around. so i would suggest eating in restuarants. there are alot of clubs that come alive, alot of entertainment at dongdaemun, like singers, bands, dancers.

I am from the US and I have lived in Seoul for 10 years. I think it depends on where you are from, who you are with and what you like to do. All the amusement parks and water parks suck compared to the US so don't even bother going to those places. - Gyungbok Palace is a really historical place but it's only cool for about 15 minutes then it's boring just looking at old pots and stuff. The korean war memorial museum is really cool. http://www.kwnm.org/ I took my mom there and she loved it. Also the Seoul tower is cool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N_Seoul_Tow...   but you have to go there on a clear day or you can't see anything. I used to ride my motorcycle up there all the time until they stopped letting people drive up there. Now you have to take a cable car up there.  If you like clubbing go to Hongdae University on a Friday or  Saturday night.

Also is the best place to see probably one of the oldest and biggest traditional Korean markets. Go there during the day. I'm sure if you search for any of these areas in Youtube you could see a little but more of what they are like. I hope you enjoy your 10 days here!

Gyeonbokgung Palace is a must. If you like old Asian palaces and history, Gyeongbokgung will not let you down. Visit the War Memorial and Museum for a history of Korea's historical battles up to the Korean war. Another must see. I suggest a tour of the DMZ if you can. You might catch a glimpse of North Korea's propaganda city. If you like theme parks go to Lotte World. S. Korea's version of Disneyworld. Itaewon is foreigner central. Foreign food can be really expensive there. If you like Indian food visit Everest restaurant in Dongdaemoon. Very cheap and the best Indian in Seoul IMO. BTW Baskin Robbins Ice cream is everywhere. So is Starbucks. Do try Bulgogi, Galbi, Gimbap, and Kimchi. Korean food is delicious. There are many more things to do, those are the ones off the top of my mind. OH and of course Shopping. Go to Yongsae for electronics. Hope that helps, have a wonderful trip.
