I have a weird sore??

Ok so this is kind of embarrassing…and I will not get it checked out by a doctor so please don’t tell me to because I would die if I had to! I have this weird sore umm…down there? I have trichotillamania so I pull my hair out there a lot, but I don’t think it’s from that. I haven’t been near a guy for ages so it wouldn’t be from a guy. The only thing I can think it might be from is that I just had that vaccination against cervical cancer. Apparently it also guards you against genital warts and you know how in a vaccination they give you a bit of the illness so your body can make anti-bodies? Do you think maybe they gave me that sore?

My skin is also very dry on the top area down there? The sore looks kind of like a mosquito bite except more protruding and I tried to scrape it off and it started bleeding…

I can’t go to the doctor, do I need to worry? :(

  1. It could be something like an ingrowing hair, in which case it may just break out and clear up..If you are plucking the hairs out the there maybe a sebaceous cyst in there where the sebaceous gland is seal under the skin and the fluid forms a cyst.  You maybe able to roll the cyst around under the skin. Don't pick at it and try to resist pulling out the hair. You could try 1% hydrocortisone cream to help the healing.  I know you are reluctant but if it persists you should see a doc.

  2. It could be as simple as a sweat pimple, just keep an eye on it, if it gets worse you will have to see a doctor though (sorry) try to find a women doc. if need be

  3. Never mind.

    It will go away.

    It is not an STD

  4. is it a pimple? well if not, i doubt it will be from the vaccination but i'd leave it and if it gets any worse maybe go to the chemist and ask the pharmasist...i did that and it was easier than i thought

  5. it could be a genital warts, if you dnt want to be checked by doctor, visit http://genitalwarts.weebly.com to know the symptoms and other informations about genital warts

  6. For sure it isn't from the vaccination.  If you are certain that you have not had sexual relations with any male or female partners than it is probably an infected hair follicle or a cyst under the skin.  It will eventually go away as long as you leave it alone.  I know that this is kinda a personal question for you and maybe weird for me to be answering but could you consider shaving/trimming down in that area to avoid pulling you hair out.  In the health care Field we recommend trimming vs totally shaving this area due to getting infected hair follicles and cysts formations so easily.  If it doesn't go away within a weak or so I would recommend seeing a physician because it may have to be drained also known has lanced with a needle or scalpel.
