I have a whirlpool refrigerator that just quit getting cold. The light inside is on but it is not getting cold

There is no sound of a motor running. It is a custom series.

Thermostat i would say has called it a day. You can try giving it a few light taps, the thermostat is located on the inside of your fridge,  also try adjusting the temp control up and down, this is on the outside of the thermostat. Good luck!!

Buy a another unit they are nearly impossible to repair and they don't stay fixed.

If you dont hear it running, check for thermostat not turning unit on, defrost control stuck/stopped in defrost cycle, freezer fan not running, or compressor not running.

All four are common failings to a whirlpool

It may have lost it's coolant;-{ or the motor ceased up.

pull it out and take off the backing cover, vaccum off all the lint on the parts real good then it should start cooling off in a few hours. my frig just did the same thing
