My school has recently got us new pro-fit rugby jerseys. They're really nice, white with red trim and our logo. The only thing is it gets dirty real easily and has a couple of grass stains and a red gatorade stain. Any suggestions on how to get it clean, without bleaching the red part of the jersey in the wash?

  1. Best thing is to get specialist stuff to spray onto the shirts as soon as you can. Vanish is good & easily available from shops. Wash at 60 degrees with a good quality powder. The red should be colourfast which means it wont run at higher temperatures.

If in doubt go to a dry cleaners, maybe you could approach all the other parents and see what they do. If you are all having the same problem the dry cleaners might do a big discount. Just a thought

  2. maybe you can take some bleach, on some old sponge, and wear gloves, clean the white part

personally, i would only clean the gatorade stain, cuz the grass and dirt stains can be worn like trophies (i get in trouble if i don't have stains at the end of a match, since it means i haven't been tackling and stuff)

  3. vanish.

  4. wash it
