I have a wierd palm tree growth?

On the side of the palm tree there are a bunch of olive like...things. They are green and keep growing what are they? are they harmful?

Depends on what sought of palm it is. Could be a date or coconut palm.

if a parlor palm it is seeds. will take a while to ripen, but will eventually go away after it drops the seeds.

also the adult palms flower and some such as the jelly palm and date palm fruit.

they aren t harmful as long as the olive like things are part of the palm and not a different plant
