  1. first of all, no one can give the value of you rifle with out seeing it in person. second, it is never wise to post the full s/n of any firearm. take it to a dealer and ask to have it appraised to insure and to sell. you will be amazed how different the quotes will be.

  2. According to the serial number you've listed your 1894 was manufactured in:  1931.

Firearms are difficult to appraise without seeing them.  If it is original (not re-blued or otherwise re-finished) and in working order you could be looking at the high hundreds US dollars.

ADDENDUM:  Nothing will happen because someone files an entire serial number on the net.  No one will steal your gun or your identity.  THAT is an urban legend.  This is the information age and filing a false police report  will bring the person filing the false report more grief than if he had just stolen the gun.  The police are not stupid and the paper trail leads right back to the person filing the phony report.
