I really don't feel like spending all that money on a $100 Microsoft XBOX Live Router thing. I have a wireless router, is there any way I can play XBOX Live?

  1. Yeah I have a Linksys wireless router and I didn't have to do anything special to use it with Live.

  2. No cause a 360 sucks. Now if you had a PS3 then you will be able to do that. Because the hardware is in the system.

  3. not without the wireless adapter though you can try and get it cheeper on ebay or something. You may try runing a ethernet cord from your router derectly into your system.

  4. The other answer is wrong.

You need a membership card and a wireless adapter, which are 60 pounds. or you can get an ethernet cable

  5. yes, here are some good solutions under $100

    http://www.amazon.com/wireless-gaming-ad...

UPDATE: If you mean a Belkin adapter that you use for PC, then no, but a model number would be helpful.

And BTW, 60 GB XBOX will be cut to $300 next weekend.

  6. Na sorry man you can't. You got to buy the Extra adapter for it.

But it's not to much of a big deal cause you know... you spent a lot less on your xbox then on a ps3...

    White Xbox 360.(WITH 60GB NOW).350$.. + 100 = 450$ for a crappy 40gb with no backwards compatability... wow ps3 is so awesome.

  7. you can take the cord you got with your xbox attach it into the back of your xbox and the back of the router but your 360 needs to be close to your router.

  8. Direct connection. Hook the Xbox up next to the router.

    That's how do it.

I'm usually the host because I have such fast speed lol.

  9. I got a free Xbox 360 from this site, I highly recommend it!

  10. Yes, use an Ethernet cable.
