  1. you mite be able to get a glass surface made for it or you could epoxy resin the table its a clear hard substance that you mix in a liquid form and you spread it on nice and even and let it dry its nice and hard ive got it on a few plaques ive got made im not sure about it on a large scale like a table i would say your best bet would be the glass or Plexiglas or you could try sanding it and varnishing it 5 or 6 times it all depends on how hard or durable you are wanting the table to be if your talking nice looking living room id varnish it or kitchen i would get glass made for it workshop or garage i would either plexiglas or resin , plexiglas mite be easier cause you would just get it cut and then s***w it on

  2. I am sure you have a very nice wooden table.  If you want a harder surface why not put a different top on the table.   You could put ceramic tile down with a wooden frame around the outside edge.   Or you could buy a piece of stainless steel and attach it to the table top.

If you are looking to put a protective surface on top of your table top, then it depends on your table and some specifics.  Is it stained or painted?  Stained use an oil based polyurethane.  Gloss will be the hardest finish, but you can put on several layers of gloss (at least 2) then a final coat of a satin if that is what you want the final result to be.   If it is already painted then you should use an enamel paint.

If this does not help you, you might try to clarify your question (it is written in the form of a statement, with just a question mark at the end).

  3. You can tile over the wood, or put granite on it....

  4. tile it.

  5. take off your clothes and dance on it.
