I have a yamaha ttr-125l/le and its making a wierd noice down near where the kick-lever attaches to.?

Its making a kind of grinding noice when it is running even when it is sitting still running. could some one tell me whats wrong with it and how much it would be about to fix it. Would it still be ok to ride when it is making that noise.

the kick start return spring is broken judging by your discription.  This should'nt cost too much to repair. I would'nt ride again untill it's fixed.

Check your clutch it could be that.

Actually, it probably is your clutch because i have one and it made that noise to and all i did was change the clutch plates.

It never made the noise again.

Just take it to a bike mechanic or local dealer that works on yamaha's as there is no point guessing what is wrong with it unless you can fix it yourself.  

I wouldn't ride it as you may damage it more.
