I have a youth group for a year now how do i get people to join,or even advertise my group.is?

i have a group but the is only one member,how do i get people to join my group?

tell about your group to the people you know or you can use the PROMOTE feature in the left panel of your groups home page... you can add advertisements to any other web pages you own

Tell everybody you know about your group and ask them to join it.  Add a signature line on your email and put the link to your group in it.  There are a lot of Yahoo groups that are for promoting/advertising groups.  Here is a link to one that has over 6000 members.  Try joining that group and advertising your group there.  

Since yours is a youth group, you would have to be very cautious about what is posted to your group by new members.  You could set your group to "moderate all new members". Then as new people join, their messages would have to be approved by you before they are actually posted to the group. This would also allow you to delete spam messages and weed out people who join groups and start posting spam messages.
