It will not just add all the music on your computer. If it is DRM protected it will not import it. When you download music make sure you save it to the My Music folder. That is the folder Zune monitors for music. If you buy music online from someplace other than Zune you cannot import it without converting it.

You can add music from your cd collection. Just put it in the cd drive and rip it into Zune.

if you use window media player, just install the zune software and it will go through the setup and add all existing music so it can be put on your zune.
