  1. Sorry, I looked everywhere.  I couldn't find anything that was 1952 or a 1/4 penny, only 1/2 penny.

  2. Things have not changed much since 1999 the 2008 Krause/Mishler Standard Catalog of world Coins 1901-2000 volume on  the 2008 DVD version say it's value is .15 in grade fine up to $2.50 in uncirculated. It had a mintage of 3,511,000 so it is not scarce. In the U.S. you can find it in a coin dealers world coin box from .10 to .25 cents. It is one of those coins out there that does have a strange denomination to most of the world, but worked for South Africa. Hope this answers your question

  3. The "KM32.2" number refers to the Krause Mishler number, its catalog number in the Standard Catalog of World Coins.

According to my venerable old 1999 edition of that catalog, there were 2.8 million South Africa 1/4 Penny (or "Farthing") coins minted in 1952.  The catalog (retail) value was in the US $0.15 to $0.30 range for coins in the circulated grades you would most likely encounter.

You can find a photo of this coin here:

(The KM number, #23, below that photo appears to have been inadvertently transposed.)

The monarch on the obverse is King George VI of Great Britain, as this coin was minted when South Africa was part of the British Commonwealth.  This coin was minted in the last year of his reign.

In the Uncirculated (or nearly so) condition of the coin in that photo, the catalog value would likely be in the $1-$2 range.

Most collectors would probably pay a fraction of these values, say in a sale on eBay, but clearly this coin has at least some very modest numismatic value.
