  1. Fat doesnt turn into muscle. You can burn fat and build muscle. You can do all the crunches you want and never get skinny. Most important thing to do if youre overweight is to not eat junk food! Cardio is the quickest way to a trimmer waistline.

  2. Well, too loose that fat you would have to do a little bit more than crunches for them to be effective. What i have learned (i've lost 20lbs) is that you have to do crunches and then the eliptical machine or some form of cardio after the crunches for them to be effective. Whenyou do crunches they just shape the muscle and form abs, they don't burn fat, but cardio burns the fat, so once it is all burned off after doing both you would have  a nice, shaped stomach with abs! other cardio includes walking, swimming, running.

  3. Yes it's me again, yes I'm stalking you.  Here's a little tid bit of inspiration for you:  When I was your age I was overweight too, just baby fat really that hadn't fallen off yet.  So I spent an entire summer doing LOTS of sit ups, I did other stuff too, except no running, I'm to lazy to run, not that it isn't a good idea to.... Anyways, I lots 25 pounds in 2 months.  When I started I couldn't even do 20 without panting and feeling like death.  But within 6 weeks I was doing 150 at a time.  I did 20 everytime a commercial came on TV, though u might want to start lighter than that.  But do work your way up.  I also STRONGLY suggest Jackknifes.

See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rj3OG8n1... - they are hard to do but they will do a lot for you.  I've been playing Wii Fit a lot lately and can now do 20.

  4. Yes and sit ups, nothing is better than those exercises for your abs.
