I have accidentally sent Yahoo! group invite to a recipient. Can I cancel it somehow?

I accidentally sent someone an invite to a Yahoo group but I don't want this person to join the group. Is there some way of canceling the invite before the recipient accepts it?

Unfortunately, no you cannot cancel an invite, but..

To be courteous you should send an email explaining your mistake.

Unfortunately, you cannot take an invite back, but when s/he joins you may remove or ban the member from your group.
