My Sons home page doesn't. Being more specific, we both have the new Yahoo homepage. His is clean of garbage, mine is NOT. I hate the new look.

  1. Hmmm.  I use Firefox with the Adblock Plus add-on. Sometimes it blocks the advertising and sometimes it does not.  If I am using Netscape, (with Adblock Plus), it has no effect and I always get the advertising.  With IE, I get the advertising all the time.  I would surmise that your son has some type of ad blocker installed.  Not really an answer, but perhaps an explanation.

Just so you know, this is a common complaint with the new format.

  2. Sorry this is not an answer but I had to voice my frustration with this change to the homepage as well.  I am in the process of trying to find anything that will remove/resize/reposition this add too.  I THINK THIS IS B.S. , as if i do not pay enough $$$ already now their "great new homepage" is 1/3 covered with B.S. adv. garbage!  if I cannot find a solution soon I am just going to close out  my account.

    WHAT c**p!!!

    THANKS ALOT, GREAT JOB AT&T/YAHOO!!
