I have aids and they are great arent they?

im a teacher and aids really help when you have loud kids! i can grade papers while my aids help the children! do you think aids should be in every classroom?

yes i think every classroom should have aides.  The students will get help whenever they need it and they wont be as rude or loud as with just one teacher.

Yes!  When I taught English I had a wonderful assistant but only in my remedial classes.  Now I teach special ed. and see that even very small classes have assistants.  ALL classes need them!

Absolutely! Like you said, they help give you the time and peace that you need to get things done. I dont mean to put you down by any means, I have the out most respect for your proffession. But it is no secret that teachers are overworked. And in my own personal expereince, they are somewhat abused and extremely underpaid. Teachers are not just only responsible for teaching our children, but it seems that now a days people expect them to also take on the responsability of a childs behavior. And it is not a teachers job or duty. And by having aides in your classroom, you get the ability of completing your work at your workplace. Rather work for 8-9 hous at the job place and then 2-4 plus at home hours that they dont pay you for!

I am a teacher and I have special needs kids and two aides and they suck.  I wish I could grade papers while they helped the kids, but the kids are smarter than they are!  I think they both must have been special diploma in high school they are so dumb.  

I can't even have them grade papers because they've proven they can't do that, either!

Be grateful that you have aides! Some teachers only have one aide. Some teachers have no aides. Even with aides, remember that you are the teacher and it is your job, not the aides' job to control the loud students.

You're very lucky to have an aide.  In my district, you only get a teacher's aide if you have a child with severe autism or some other ailment that requires constant attention.

well I'm in The 4th grade but yes teacher aids are very helpful i have a teacher aid she helps my teacher when ever my teacher needs something like if my teacher is teaching and she needs something laminated oh and for about 5 minutes i stared at the question and thought you said that you enjoy aids i was like nasty! lol
