I have algae in my pool?

I have green algae in my pool. At first I thought it was sand but when a go over it green algae floats. I tested my pool water and the chemicals are perfect. I clean the filter ever day. How can I get rid of this?

  1. empty the pool,and put new water in.

  3. Baquisil is the best chemical brand, it has no chlorine. Since we started using this brand, we have had no problems with algae or ph levels being too high or low.  

  4. i need to have more information to help you out. i need to know how many hours a day are you running the pump with it being green. i need to know how green it is. can you see the bottom or maybe just a few feet or maybe you cant even see 1 foot down. i need the type of filter, sand , cartridge or DE. i need to know the gallons of the pool. is it an inground or an above ground. what chemicals have you put in so far. i have 27 years in this industry and can help you clear it up with more info

  5. Bleach. and keep it clean. Leaves and such can deposit bad things...as well as animal deposits...bad things

  6. what i did is was cleaned it with a tooth brush and some hand soap. it actually worked!!

  7. there are chemicals sold for this you can add them to your water ask the guy who do the maintenance for you about this
