As I was putting my garden hose away today (which stays in a cubby hole under my house) I noticed a bunch of all-white weird looking things. At first I thought they were just bunched up pieces of a cob web, but when I sprayed them, they started moving quickly. That's when I noticed they were all white spiders. I have never before seen anything like them, and they are pretty big in size. As I closed the door slowly, I noticed they turned neon green, like they were glowing. Anyone have any ideas??? I live in Michigan, so spiders are really only outside for the summer as they can't handle the cold winters. These spiders were staying under my house, next to the garden hose faucet. It's a very dark, cold area.

I've asked several people around here, but no one has ever heard of white glowing spiders. Help!!!!!

  1. maybe they are ghost spiders

  2. Jumping white widow spiders. One bite, and it's Judgment Day. They're aggressive too. Bites from them are more common in winter, when they invade people's houses to keep warm.

  3. terrorists belonging to al quieta (the shitite muslim arachnid) just kidding. when some creatures are devoid of light for their entire existence, they remain pallid without significant pigmentation. I think

  4. yuck.

you may want to call an exteriminator prior to winter, when those critters will be looking for somewhere nice and warm - like your bed.

  5. Learn to ID  it with the help of these sites and even if you do not find what you are looking for you will be able to ID any bug in the future -
