  1. No, it's not normal.  I'd head to the ER immediately.  It sounds like the Ebola virus.

  2. It's normal bruising. It should go away as you play more and you build up the strength to take getting constantly hit by a ball. If it continues too long, get it checked in case it's a rash on the outside.

  3. it could be a bruise or u may have popped a blood vessil.

or u could not be hitting the ball in the right place of ur arm.

  4. u might have pooped a blood vessel

  5. OMG! would you look at some of these answers!?!?

these people are rediculous and are gonna make you a total hypochondriac!

you're fine...chances are its just bruising from your arms not being used to   hitting the ball. they'll go away...they're just sore.

  6. Uh, bruises?

  7. Yep its perfectly normal. It probably just a popped blood vessel. as you play more and more your arms get used to hitting the ball and you don't get popped blood vessels anymore.

  8. yup, totally normal.

it happens to me a lot after playing volleyball (:

  9. its a bruise.

  10. You need to have it checked. I believe they are Petechiae

Petechiae are pinpoint-sized red dots under the surface of the skin. The dots are red because they contain blood that has leaked from tiny blood vessels (capillaries) into the skin. Petechiae may be an indication of a serious underlying problem that requires medical evaluation.

A common cause of petechiae is a low platelet count (thrombocytopenia). Platelets are blood cells that play an important role in blood clotting. Causes of a low platelet count include:

Autoimmune disorders, such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis

Viral infections, such as mononucleosis and measles (rubella)

Side effect of certain medications, such as chemotherapy drugs

Bone marrow disorders, such as leukemia

Infection of your bloodstream (septicemia, or "blood poisoning")

Treatment of petechiae depends on the underlying cause. If you develop petechiae, see your doctor promptly.

  11. yeah i play volleyball in high school at first you get red marks and popped blood vessels but once you get use to it your arms get stronger and it doesn't hurt anymore

  12. most likely popped a blood vessel.

    it happens

  13. What kind of dots? Small big? They might just be bruises.

  14. yes, its normal. they are broken blood vessels. the impact of the ball caused you to bruise. its ok, just try taking it easy or get a softer ball. your arms will become more used to it though.
