  1. does it just say 360 watt? 360 rms? for one never hook a sub up to the max power it will make it blow way faster the rms is useually half what the max power is or sometimes a third you should be fine with half find a amp that puts out a rms around that number if you hook it up to not enough power it will make it distort and then blow hook it up to to much and it will "clip" it's complicated and not important but what kind of sub is it not all subs sound good really the box is very very very important look up the sub on google and find out if it will sound beter in a sealed or ported box i'm telling you it will make all the difference in the world a sub will sound bad if it has to much pressure in the box and it will distort if it doesn't have enough too it depends on the sub i hope that helps... i wish i could tell you more but idk what kind of sub it is...


  2. What kind of amp do you have? And what size speaker is it?

    Edit: I have a Kicker Competition 12" speaker and a pioneer amp that is 750 watts. The cd player is also pioneer.
