you go the vienna website & it will give you all the ball season info schedule, how to purchase advance tickets, opera house schedule etc...

Of all the european countries I've visited, Austria has the best tourist web sites.  Make sure you use the official sites, not commercial ones that are trying to sell you trips and lodging.

All of them have English (look for the little British flag if it's not obvious).
