  1. Rain and sun are best friends over there you'l meet them every day every season.

To see: Mid west coast and Conemara hill's, vilage of Doolin, clifs of Moore,...

Make a long walk, meet people, or don't go!

  2. I have been to Ireland 8 times. The best time is to go in June because it's warm. or go in early september. Never go during july or augaust because it's really crowded and it's hard to get a good rate. Never go during the winter because the climate is very wet and rainy.

  3. You're supposed to kiss the blarney stone but I've heard that people  ***** on it.

  4. defiantly in the summer months, loads to see, depending where you are going,is it north or south, giants causeway in co antrim is a must .and droghada,is a churchwith a head of sir oliver plunket, preserved in glass caase. history, excellent, dublin powers court, and the list goes on,killarney castle,is a must, tipperary,is st patricks well, loads of fab places, to see.

  5. well my dads from ireland so we've been bakc there duuring all times of the year. the summer obviously is gorgeous but extremely expensive and its unlikely you'll find reasonable accomadation. i recommend going in late august, early september. the weather is still really nice, and things are just a little bit less expensive. plus you'll be there during one of the most exciting times in ireland sporting culture witht he gaelic fotball finals and semis on during that time..

  6. I live in Ireland and I think that we always seem to get the warmest weather during June when all the students are doing exams! It depends how long you're staying and when you're going but if you have the time, I'd recommend going to Dublin on the east coast and maybe Galway or Kerry on the west coast. Ireland's a fairly small country but there's a huge difference between east and west coast. there's brilliant shopping and loads of historical sites across Dublin and the west coast is really scenic and beautiful. hope you enjoy your trip :D

  7. Many Europeans visit Ireland during August, so it is extremely crowded then.  I have been there in June, and that is a good time to visit--many things are open for the tourist season but it is not quite as busy as in later summer.  I also visited in September-October and that was fine too.  Come to think of it, there is not a bad time to visit!

If this is your first, or perhaps only a one time trip, then you should schedule the expected things--Blarney Castle, Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Galway, Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Castle banquet, etc.  But make time for some out of the way places as well such as Lisdoonvarna (site of the matchmaking festival and base for much traditional Irish music), Mizenhead, (breathtaking scenery in the Southwestern part of the island), a drive through the Connor Pass to Dingle (You will think you are on top of the world!), St Kevin's (Glendalough), Cashel and Dundrum (stay at the Rectory House there, a true little gem of a hotel), drive through Donegal to the north, and do not be afraid to visit Northern Ireland if you have the time. I could go on and on, but I will stop here. You are a lucky person to be planning a trip to the Emerald Isle.  Have a great time!
