I have an 01 ford escort gas question?

i was wondering if i would be able to put a higher grade gas in it with out it hurting it or if it didnt hurt it would it do any good anyway

No, it won't hurt it.  If your engine doesn't knock or ping on the cheap stuff, you'll only be throwing money away purchasing premium.

Probably not going to help you much. For the price difference, the mileage won't add much. Plus, the Escort doesn't have the pistons to burn much hotter and you could end up burning holes in them fairly quickly.

I would stick with regular, OEM plugs, and a good air filter ( maybe even K&N)

No I accidentally put  diesel in my escort and it got about 50 miles to the gallon
