  1. there is probably a nest of them somewhere try and search for the nest and if u find it use raid on them. if you don't then just vacuum the place

  2. Go to an Ace Hardware store and get this ant killer, i forget what its called but it works really good!  its orange and clear and its a gel.  Good luck!!!

  3. it helps to know what part of the country you are in, if by chance you are in the South, biting ants usually will be fire ants and you should be able to locate the nest next to  the foundation near where you are seeing them inside...if they happen to be in a bathroom or wash room wall look for dirt filtering from under the baseboard to locate the net....forget grits and cornmeal for ant control, they do not have the ability to eat solid foods a simple web search can tell you all about ant biology and pull numerous experiments testing such hoaxes

  4. Sprinkle some corn meal in the areas where you see they are coming in.  They eat the corn meal, drink water, and the corn meal expands in their stomach and kills them.

  5. Oh i had the same problem in my house.... it was going on for some time but i finally cured it last month....

what u need to do to get rid of them is this....

    1 - kill the ants...

2 - dont let them move around ur home

3 - stop ants from outside form coming in...

ok so for the first step... mix a little flour, sugar and borax with water and make a dough.... make very small balls from it and place them in places where you see ants most often.... wait a few hours and watch that place... u will see lots of ants there... and you will see that some of them are taking little pieces of the mxture somewhere... follow their train (its simple - stupid animals make a line.... it will point you directly to their nest).... find their nest, but wait for a day..... next day spray the nest with a mixture of water and kerosine oil (equal parts).... this spray works wonders...

so u will kill the ants in two ways... firstly with the spray.... secondly and more lastingly with the borax mixture... they take it to the queen who eats it and die... and without the queen, the whole colony dies....

ITS REALLY IMPORTANT TO GIVE ANTS THE TIME TO TAKE THE MIXTURE TO THEIR QUEEN... so please dont disturb the ants when they are taking the ball to their colony.. just locate it and spray the next day...

ok so for the second and third step, take a bucked and make a mixture of water and kerosine oil (diluted mixture).... sweep the floor with it... whole house.... ants cant stand to walk anywhere where this mixture has touched... so you will be free....

    hope his helped..

  6. Try mixing sugar and borax with hot water in a solution, dipping pieces of bread in it, and leaving the bread where you see the ants.

    Good luck!

  7. Place ant traps under the sink and where you see ants, away from pets.

  8. Grits will work the same as corn meal

  9. They don't like lemon

  10. Go to Home Depot and buy Home Defense and spray around the border of all the rooms of the house, including windows, closets, doorways...the stuff works great even here in Florida

  11. I used a little bit of cornmeal mixed with a tiny bit of sugar.  They love it, but can't digest it. So they eat it and choke to death.  Also boric acid is good too, they crawl in it, take it back to their nest and infect the whole clan.

  12. omgsh! my house is like that! (before we moved out lol)

my mom used all these chemicles and then she got sick of using chemicles because it was bad for our health and hers, so she just squeezed lemons into a spray bottle and sprayed it everywhere, our house smelt kind of sour, i don't know what it did, but it did get rid of some ants, then afterwards, they slowly start disappearing, in our house, they'll always come at spring.

  13. OMG i had the same problem not too long ago. My mom is the cleanest person i know but the ants were still getting in and around the kitchen. Let them infest so you get a good idea where the are coming in from (ours were coming in from the dishwasher?) dont buy raid or all those junkie sprays, get a sponge and just wipe them off to their death...buy  Terro liquid ant bait, they are these tiny squares with sugary stuff in them that takes those pesky ants to ant heaven. They worked better than anything. Second buy the salt looking grains and spread it around the area of the house where the ants are entering.
