I have an Acer Aspire computer that was purchased in May of this year. It has suddenly become unuseable. It starts the Acer screen and then the small Microsoft bar then it goes blank except the cursor which can be moved but at this time the keyboard is dead. The blue disk light flickers but nothing happens. I have tried starting in the safe mode but same results. I would guess that the hard drive has probably failed or Vista erased itself.
