I have an Aiwa GX800 VHS machine. I locked it by accident and now I can't enter the correct pin code.?

I have the correct pin code but it just keeps saying "protected" and wont allow me to enter anything. Can anyone help?

usually with end-user equiptment like this, there is always a secret engineer back-door pin code. This is for the exact reason you are explaining.

try checking the maunal for it or ring the manufacturer/supplier.

if you take it apart, there might be a small battery which is powering your stored configuration. Take this battery out for a minute, then replace it.

you should be reset back to factory default.
