  1. in the regular army you would automatically get your E4 and as for the pay yahoo search for a 2009 military pay chart

  2. You should make Specialist (E4) when you enlist.  I think after taxes it is somewhere around 200 dollars for 2 day drill.

  3. Dude go be an officer!

  4. if you have a degree u should be able to become a officer and go threw the officer basic course look for a recruiter that deels with officers not enlisted

  5. TALK TO A RECRUITER.

  6. you can enlist and get e4. or go officer (OCS) because of the degree, or you can go warrant (you dont have to have a degree). it just depends on you. what do you want to do? what specialties do you have in mind? I suggest you find what interests you and look into it further. you might find you want to do a certain MOS and you have to be an officer, or you want to fly helicopters and want to go warrant.

do a bit more research and then go at it from that angle. a tip, if you want to fly, you will get through it faster if you go national guard since its the state paying and not the government. if you go AD Army and go warrant, you will wait.

  7. From what I am aware of, as a future soldier, you can only be e3 until after you finish basic. As for having a degree that's great. But what do you want out of the army? An individual in my platoon, too, had a bachelor's and went 11x option 40 with a 35,000 bonus. However, you have to take the ASVAB and see how you score. If you do well, you can get MI or go to OCS and become an officer
