  1. where did you buy it? if it says made in china you might have got a knock-off if you did you might be able to return it to the store, but first go to the company and find out where the company makes there stuff.

  2. Just because you have an HD tv dosent mean everything on the screen will be in HD. Your tv is HD ready for what ever stations are available in HD.  And as of NOW not all stations are available for HD. The tv has a receiver built in ready to accept an HD signal not games....

  3. In order to play ps3 games in HD you get the HDIM cable to set your ps3 resolution with the TVS.

  4. Hi the reason why see crisp sharp picture your HDTV with the PS3, is because the PS3 is Hi-Def game console. PS3 it is for HDTV. The Blu-ray players are ONLY for HDTV. NOT for Standard TV. Now do you get it? You need a HD cable box in able to have crisp sharp picture  on your HDTV. I have Charter cable & HD Charter cable box & it is only use for HDTV only. Also some other cable company like Direct-TV has HD cable box too.

If you are using standard cable box & using it on your HDTV, will get standard picture & it will upscale to 480P. But, if you have a HD cable box & connect with your HDTV, you will have 720P,1080i or 1080P. It depends what resolution of your HDTV has. My HDTV it has 768P & it will upscale to 720P or 1080i.

    I hope this helps.

PS Remember that the Nintendo Wii console it is not a HD game console. If you play Nintendo Wii on your HDTV, you will have a standard picture with grainy picture.
