my hp laptop recently was fixed because its dvd driver wasn't working anymore.

but since i have gotten it back i have discovered a new problem.

now if i shut down the laptop it comes back on and then says that it cannot locate any wireless networks (even though there are at least three including my own in the area)

i can diagnose the problem and fix it temporarilyly but then the next time i shut down the same thing happen

in the long term this seems to be becoming a real inconveience

can anyone tell me some way to fix this for real

it is a hp pavilion entertainment pc (just in case that helps)

thanks

  1. Go to their site. It is a free service 24/7

Then lower left click Support and troubleshooting

    Then upper right, contact HP

Here you have a choice of email or live chat support (Via computer) They are fast in responding

  2. Oh my God! The same thing happened to me with the DVD player, exept I have Windows Vista!  You should try to send it back again, or (as I figured this out the hard way) you might want to try leting your computer do new updates if it has and automatic update system like mine.  That has seemed to help me with most of my problems.  I hope this helps you out.  Good luck!

  3. You may need to downlaod a driver update to resolve the issue.
