I have an IG chain on my bike and it keeps breaking help!?

I have replaced it 2 times still breaks

This could be caused by one of three things.

1. Chain assembly issue, Always use shimano pins to reassemble a shimano chain (unless you are using a SRAM power link) This would take care of issue #1.

2.  Bike issue, You may have a chain line problem. Chain line can put unnecessary strain on the drive train of your bike causing many issues. Take it to a bike shop.

3. User errors while shifting, Shifting while under a heavy load can snap a chain.

Where is it breaking? As it's a Shimano chain, is it breaking at the master link? If so, use an SRAM powerlink.
