Does the cable boxes Comcast uses support HD content through component? I have a tv that supports 1080i but I dont have HDMI or DVI.

  1. Most cable/satellite boxes will have BOTH component and HDMI outputs. Every box I have ever seen has both, for this same reason. If you want to be sure, when you order a box make sure you express your need for a component Ready Cable Box.
