It says that somebody used it for online gambling. I was reading the terms and conditions and is states that the card cannot be used for online gambling. How do I go about disputing this charge?

  1. First of all, call the bank who issued the card and tell them you believe your card number was stolen. They should cancel the card immediately and reissue you a new account. Also, if you can access your account online, you should dispute the charges. The bank should be able to direct you on how to do that.  Hopefully, you are only liable for the first $50 but read your card agreement carefully.  Good luck!

  2. If you did not charge the card your not resposible as for an investigation and your money back.

  3. call then, they'll send you a new card and apologize! If it was your bank debit card it would have been much more complicated; however, credit card companies would do their best to get their money regardless from who!

  4. Call the credit card company with your "terms and conditions" paper and state your argument.

  5. call the police. unless the person who was doing that was in your family or friends hahaha

  6. Dispute the charge in writing to the credit card company.

BTW ... be sure to safeguard your information.  Just because a CC company says you can't online gamble with their credit card doesn't mean that if someone steals your information that they can't try to.
