I have an XDMR7700 stereo in my truck. when i push the open button it will open half way and close. HELP!!!?

The front cover will come down like it is going to open, then it close back up. when i push the eject button the same thing happens. can you help me???????

Nothing against girls by no mean. I had a friend though had the same problem it was hitting the cup holder whenit was coming down. I pushed in the cup holder bam it was fixed. It is binding up on something that is waht is keeping it from coming down.

you can try the reset button, but first make sure its not hitting anything, like the trim piece around the front or the dash any where.  this has happened to me before, just check the plastic piece around the front and make sure its on all the way

I dont now much about this bro, but i believe there sould be a total stereo reset button on the back of the stereo try reseting it and it will fix the problem!
