I totaled my brand new car about 3 months after purchasing it. Even tho I bought GAP ins. I ended up with balance of $700. B/C my bank was also the finance company I alerted them to the fact that I was doing my best to pay off the balance. I am a substitute teacher in college so you can imagine how diffucult that is. Anyways... They sent the account to collections b/c I didn't pay it quick enough. Well after they couldn't collect and several harrasing phone calls they went into my bank account and just took the $700 out.. I had maybe $200 in there So it put my account in the negative. My new car payment bounced and now I have two weeks of phone calls from Honda about the bounced check and my bank is freaking out (even tho they did it). So my ? is can they just go in and take my money with out my consent?
