Will I be able to withdraw funds at an ATM using my hsbc DEBIT card? (and will there be enormous fees involved)

Will I be able to use my credit card at restaurants and so forth without being charged any extra fees. I have a capitol one mastercard and an amex blue card.

Also, what is the currency used in aruba? is it euro?

  1. I'm not sure if you will be able to use an ATM in Aruba with your debit card.  I would not recommend using your debit card while in Aruba.

You can use your credit card at any restaurant as long as they accept credit cards without any extra fees.  In fact, I would recommend using your credit card for as many of your purchases as possible.  Credit cards have more protections in place in case something goes wrong.

I'm not sure of the currency in Aruba, but I'm willing to bet that you can use US dollars in Aruba.  Once you find out the currency in Aruba, be sure to find out the current exchange rate so you know that you are not getting ripped off when you make a purchase.
