  1. you do you have an Ace kicker you both have 9-9 5-5  and the high card in your hands play as a kicker his 4's don't count because you play only 5 best card not 6


  2. Pocker 4s is the loser because 5s and 9s (two Pair) with and Ace high is better than 9s and 5s with 4 high.  

    You pair cancels out when there are two bigger pair on the board.  You have to play your high card as the 5th card.

    Best hand on the board is a pair of 5s and pair of 9s.   Next best card for him is the 5.    However next best card for you is the Ace.   So you win,   Two pair,  Ace kicker   All he has is two pair,  five kicker.

  4. Yeah even though his pocket hand is better than yours it's the best 5 cards out of the 7 and you've got A high and he has 4 high.  This is one of the situations where a low pocket pair can kill you and the other guy had the best hand until the 9 hit the river.
