I have an alpine type X 12' what type of enclosure, Sealed, ported, or bandpass?

I am thinking bandpass but i dont wanna blow the front faceplate off, ported sounds nice but i feel liek the peformance and sound is not as good as sealed so what im asking is bandpass or sealed?

ported...it has better sound and the sub lasts longer.

sealed sounds the best. ported tends to be a little muffled. but its all up to you and your prefernces
