I have an ant problem in my room, but its only in my room, how can i get rid of them?

i heard bleach would work, i have hardwood floors and its only my room thats getting it, i havent told my mom yet bc i know shes gonna flip out

well ants,they r pretty irritating.there must be some holes in the room from where they get out .or there must be a dead insect some where in the room may be under the carpet or behind the cupboardor some where or crumbs of some food material.keep u r room clean and tidy.IF U CAN stealthely get a spray from the store.use ur         vaccumcleaner the suck them in if there r some holes or cracks.

dont leave food out and you can kill them with just a sponge and soapy water...

they might be coming in from outside (it's hot out there!) and if that is the case, you need to tell your parents because there are special treatments you can buy for the outside perimeter of your house.

put ant dust where they enter your room. (follow the army lines) you can find ant dust at your local grocery store. I had them in my kitchen and they were gone a day after I put the dust down.

try to go to  like a hardware store and get a sticky ray trap out some crumbs on there and then they will stick to the rat trap and when your done you can just pick up the rat tap and fold it up and throw it away...

or

put some honey out and put some bleach is it they will most likely skil to the honey and they will die b/c of the poisened honey...

also find where the problem is like if there is something rotting in your room or something b/c this could become something ver serious

first follow them and find where they are coming from. then use whatever ant poison you want. i also read somewhere that chili powder, used coffee grounds and vinegar are natural repellents which you probably have at home and will allow your mom not to find out.

duh and if that isn't it then do what i did and get terro ant killer (in powder form) and put it where they're coming in and outside of where they're coming in, it kills them instantly and its fun to watch the little demons suffer...have fun

You need to get to the source of the problem.  If you eat in your room, then start with a good cleaning.  Remove any pop cans, candy wrappers, snack containers.  Wash down your room thoroughly, and their are many good ant sprays you can spray around windowsills, and baseboards.  Ants just don't happen, something is attracting them so perhaps this will help, I sure hope so.  

Before considering the use of any bombs best to address this with your parents, trust me they would want to know of the problem and can help you.

Killing the ants won't stop them ans more will be sure to come.  Ants are in there because of a food source.  Find the food source, and get rid of it.  Do a thurough scrubbing of your room, make sure there isn't anything under your bed or any furniture.

Well, I can tell you the stinky Raid stuff doesn't do c**p for ants, even though it says it's made for it.  

The stuff I got that finally worked was Spectracide Bug Stop.  I got it at Home Depot a while back.  It comes in a clear spray bottle, and there's a lot in it.  

It is way more powerful than that crappy Raid stuff and it doesn't smell strong at all.  And it seems to work just like it says, like 6 months or so of repellent.  I still have a whole bottle that is unopened because the ants haven't come back after the first and second spraying, which was nearly 9 months ago.

clean and tidy up and find where they might be coming from. take your stuff off the floor. spray some bug spray around especially at thresholds and where the floor meets wall. open a window and leave the room so you dont inhale fumes =]

come back in a little while maybe 2 hours or so

and check on the ant problem

You can buy ant poison from Walmart and hardware stores.  Its a clear fluid and comes in a bottle with a specially fitted top that makes pouring easy.
