  1. antiques roadshow

  2. It's worth anywhere from $100 - $300 - depending on condition.  Following is a link to completed Ebay sales showing old Johnson motors:

  3. That's far too general a question to give an accurate answer.

What model is it - the value will vary greatly.  What's the condition of the motor - showroom/museum quality and a fine runner; needs a little tune up but otherwise all there; needs some parts in order to run; stuck and a parts motor.

Are you willing to go to the expense and work of PROPERLY crating it up and shipping it?  If not, then your buying market will be much smaller, and the demand will drop along with your price.

There's a model# and a serial# on the rope sheave plate - with that I can positively ID the motor.  But without knowing more, it's a crapshoot.  Value - from $20 on up, but probably less than you're thinking now.  (I just bought a 1936 Johnson 9.3HP on ebay for $56, and it's complete non-running condition.)

  4. I agree with Caroline H.
